Ha sido pionero en el campo del uso art\u00edstico de los juegos y es un desatacado te\u00f3rico en Game-Art y Game-studies.<\/p>\n<p>Es profesor en el Centro de Cultura Digital y dirige \u201cArt &amp; Civic Media\u201d con una investigaci\u00f3n centrada en las interfaces l\u00fadicas y la Gamificaci\u00f3n. Ha sido profesor invitado en la Universidad de Potsdam (Alemania), en la de Saldford (Reino Unido), en la Sibelius Academy de Helsinki (Finlandia), y las Universidades de Arte y Dise\u00f1o de Linz y Stewart Home, entre otros, y escrito art\u00edculos y libros que, como La Rep\u00fablica de los fines (2010), tratan de construir una noci\u00f3n de autonom\u00eda relevante tanto para las Lukas Hoger Instituut de Bruselas (B\u00e9lgica) y desarroll\u00f3 un inter\u00e9s por las nuevas tendencias en el arte y los nuevos medios. Realiz\u00f3 un Tercer Ciclo de Perfeccionamiento en Investigaci\u00f3n Pl\u00e1stica en L\u2019Ecole Sup\u00e9rieure d\u2019Art Visuel de Ginebra (Suiza), Programa de Postgrado de Piet Zwart Institute, Fine Art Programme de la Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam (Holanda) y artista investigadora en New Media Art en la University of California de San Diego, en el Departamento de Visual Arts, (EEUU), en los que desarroll\u00f3 una buena parte de su investigaci\u00f3n doctoral. Curador del proyecto de rasgos \u00e1rabes en M\u00e9xico, Argentina, Chile, Brasil y El Salvador entre 2008 y 2010. Es comisario\/curador del proyecto Tratado de Paz para la Capital Cultural DSS2016.
